When my father remarried he did so without my knowledge. My sister and I learned that he had remarried through a letter he sent after the fact. Although 20 years have past and I have grown to love my stepmother very much, the fact that we were not included in their wedding, or at the very least told about it beforehand is painful for me.
How did the transition go for your family? If you haven't become a blended family yet, what are your concerns?
